PeakCityWeb is my Web design and Web hosting business. Since 1997 I’ve been building and designing Web sites for families, small businesses, non-profit organizations, and other various clients. I formalized my business to meet the needs of those who wanted my help.
Getting a Web presence should be an easy and non-intimidating experience for even the most non tech-savvy person out there. I try to keep my prices affordable, my designs simple and clean, and my services solid. I incorporate my professional and academic training as a writer and information architect into well-thought-out designs and content layouts.
My graphical design skills are self-taught and reflect my keen eye and preference for the simple. My designs are not graphic intensive or Flash-based. With my Web sites, you can typically see straight lines, easy scannability, a focus on content, a clean layout, and a simple look that complements the focus and purpose of the particular site.
I believe that a site must first and foremost be usable and well organized, where the site is easy to navigate and the content is easy to find and understand.
For more graphic intensive sites, or sites that need professional branding work done, I have access to several professional graphic designers whom I can work with.
